To continue our post-Christmas celebrations, this week our extended family flew in from all different far flung places (even London!) to the small coastal town of Kingscliff. It was such a lovely week, swimming each morning at Kingy Creek before lazing around reading books and drinking coffee down at Mockingbird Cafe. In the afternoons I would duck out to feed the chickens, as is routine. One of these days my Family and Sister-in-Law joined me to spread the scraps and collect the just-laid eggs from all our wonderful hens.

This is one of my favourite things to do on the farm. If you're ever around, please do say hi and I'll take you out to see the chickens.
